1. Overview
FastLaneTrade.com (“FastLane,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates as a digital sourcing and trade marketplace connecting buyers in the United States with qualified manufacturers and suppliers across Latin America. By accessing or using FastLaneTrade.com (the “Platform”), you (“User,” “Buyer,” or “Seller”) agree to comply with the following Terms of Service (“Terms”) and Refund Policy.
2. Marketplace Role
FastLaneTrade.com is a facilitative platform that enables transactions between independent buyers and sellers. FastLane is not a manufacturer, importer, exporter, or logistics provider and does not assume ownership of goods at any point. Buyers and sellers are responsible for the accuracy of product listings, order details, and compliance with all local and international trade regulations.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 General Policy
FastLane does not offer refunds on imported or custom-manufactured items, as these are made-to-order or sourced specifically for the buyer. Shipping, freight, or logistics costs are non-refundable once the shipment is in transit or delivered.
3.2 Exceptions and Dispute Assistance
In the event of damaged goods, incorrect items, or quality disputes, buyers and sellers are encouraged to communicate directly to reach a resolution within 7 calendar days of receipt. FastLane may mediate communication between both parties to help reach mutually agreeable terms such as replacement, partial credit, or repair. All resolutions are handled on a case-by-case basis.
3.3 Claims Procedure
- Submit a written claim to hello@fastlanetrade.com within 7 days of delivery.
- Include order details, photos, and documentation.
- FastLane will review the case and assist in coordinating communication between buyer and seller.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
- Verify all product specifications, quantities, pricing, and lead times prior to placing an order.
- Understand that international trade involves inherent risks, including customs delays, tariffs, and transit damage.
- Arrange for independent quality inspections or freight insurance as needed.
5. Seller Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy in product listings, pricing, and origin information.
- Adhere to all applicable export laws, product safety regulations, and delivery timelines.
- Cooperate in resolving disputes or product claims in good faith.
6. Payment and Escrow
Payments are processed through secure third-party systems or FastLane-approved payment partners. Certain transactions may utilize escrow or milestone-based payments to protect both parties. FastLane reserves the right to withhold disbursements if a transaction is under dispute.
7. Limitation of Liability
FastLane is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by manufacturing, shipping, customs, or force majeure events. FastLane will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. The maximum aggregate liability of FastLane for any claim shall not exceed the transaction fee paid to FastLane for that specific order.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA. All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Sonoma County, California.
9. Amendments
FastLane reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Policies at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
